Take a virtual tour of our officeDr. Olness’ father and mother were a mechanic and a teacher, so he learned by example and grew up with a passion for helping others and working with his hands. He knew he wanted to find a profession that would meld these two traits, and dentistry seemed to be a perfect fit.
After earning his DDS from the University of Minnesota in 2007, Dr. Olness began practicing in Willmar in 2007. He finds it gratifying to help people achieve and maintain oral health, and he strives to ensure every patient feels comfortable in our office. Dr. Olness believes optimal dental wellness starts with patient-centered care. That is why he takes the time to make sure each patient understands their treatment and individual oral care needs.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Olness loves getting outdoors with his wife and three daughters. He loves camping, skiing, canoeing, biking, boating, and fishing with his family. Dr. Olness is a member of the following organizations:
Nicole is originally from Willmar and is excited to start providing patient-centered oral care in her hometown to help people achieve and maintain healthy smiles.
Nicole recently graduated with herDoctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School ofDentistry in 2025. She previously received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts in 2019.
Nicole finds joy in spending time with her sizable family and friends. She enjoys being in the outdoors, whether it be hiking, learning all sorts of new activities, or tending to a garden. On not so sunny days, you can find herreading in a cozy chair, working on a puzzle, or crocheting.
She lives with her husband andvery active german shepherd dog.
Jorey was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota and completed his under graduate studies at the University of North Dakota prior to graduating with his DDS fromCreighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2017.
Attracted to medicine from an early age, Dr. Heit felt a draw towards dentistry while shadowing in high school and discovered it to be an intricate blend of art, engineering, and medicine. He is proud to be an advocate and an ally for his patients in optimizing their dental health, as the systemic health ramifications of dental disease are known to be quite detrimental. He believes that the patient and their needs come first and there is no one size fits all solution for optimal oral health.
In his free time, Dr. Heit enjoys the outdoors by golfing, hunting, camping, adventuring with his dog, and playing sports. He also enjoys reading, making good food, exercising, and working on DIY projects. He currently lives inHutchinson with his girlfriend and his dog.
